This is a great place to go if you are visiting Washington DC during spring break or an extended vacation. The museum is also known for having one of the largest collection of portrait paintings of all time.

The National Postal Museum is located at the Postal Museum, designed to showcase all of the different aspects of American culture. It is located on Market Street between Pennsylvania and Madison Avenues in Washington DC. This is a great place to go sightseeing while taking in the beautiful view of the capital city. The Tudor Place is named after a Spanish physician and philosopher who are one of the first modern physicians in the United States. In the early years he treated patients right here in the US. One of the famous pieces of his work is the pelvis museum which offers a walking tour through the human body.

Abraham Lincoln Memorial is another must see in Washington DC. It was built to honor Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the US. His final resting place is also located in this museum. Many prominent figures from our nation’s past are featured in this museum including the three sitting Presidents of the US.

One other great place to check out when visiting Washington DC is the Laogai Museum. It is located at Potomac Park, near the Anacostia River. The main highlights of this museum are its two large floor plan rooms. The first has a large interactive exhibits and displays. Other highlights include the Anacostia river that runs through the museum and an outdoor aquarium filled with crabs, snakes, fish and tropical plants.

A few stops on your tour to Washington DC should include a visit to the National Portrait Gallery and the Hirshhorn Museum. The National Portrait Gallery houses some of the most famous American portraits.
