But here shall be sharing with you some of the more modern and ancient seven wonders of our world. This will make you want to go to those wonderful sites by yourself so you can experience these for yourself.

One of the great wonders of our world is the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is also known as the Egyptian Pyramids. The great pyramid has long been a symbol of mystery, because it is a thing of great importance and it took many years for the Egyptian government to build. Only very recently have scientists come to understand the real meaning behind this great structure. There are several theories concerning the structure of the pyramid, but what really happened is still baffling engineers today.

Another great wonder of the ancient world is the Giza Plateau. This area is twenty-five miles long and seven miles wide. It was one of the earliest great archaeological finds in the world. This is where the pyramids were built and this is where the stones of Giza were laid out.

One of the new seven wonders of the ocean is the Great Barrier Reef. This is one place that you simply must visit. If you love the sun then you will like this place. It is so hot that the water has a temperature of over sixty degrees year round. It is also home to many marine animals, including the great barrier reef.

There are also several other incredible underwater world wonders that you might like to see. If you have never seen the Great Barrier Reef then I highly recommend that you do. Otherwise, there is the following table enlists the seven wonders of the ancient world listed under their scientific names:

In the last article, I briefly mentioned the Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam is a man-made marvels that allows a low flow river to flow through it and thus produces electricity. This is actually a natural wonder in the sense that it is a product of nature. The seven wonders of the ancient world listed above all use natural causes for their existence. The Hoover Dam, for instance, can be explained by its location and formation by natural forces.

Canary Islands

There are three more great wonders of the underwater world that you might also want to explore. These include the Canary Islands, Bermuda islands, and the Cayman Islands. If you don’t like the thought of visiting the Bermuda islands or the Canary Islands, you might at least visit the Cayman Islands. In the table given below, there is an image wherein you can see a video depicting all of the wonders of these Caribbean islands. If the mention of the seven wonders of the ancient world gave you a good deal of trouble, then you should definitely view this video because it takes you on a tour of these Caribbean islands in just a couple of minutes.

Last but not least, there are the Statue of Liberty, the Ellis Island, and the Ponce de Leon sculptures. All of these sites are located near New York City.
