One of the great wonders of our world is the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is also known as the Egyptian Pyramids. The great pyramid has long been a symbol of mystery, because it is a thing of great importance and it took many years for the Egyptian government to build. Only very recently have scientists come to understand the real meaning behind this great structure. There are several theories concerning the structure of the pyramid, but what really happened is still baffling engineers today.

Another great wonder of the ancient world is the Giza Plateau. This area is twenty-five miles long and seven miles wide. It was one of the earliest great archaeological finds in the world. This is where the pyramids were built and this is where the stones of Giza were laid out.

In the last article, I briefly mentioned the Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam is a man-made marvels that allows a low flow river to flow through it and thus produces electricity. This is actually a natural wonder in the sense that it is a product of nature. The seven wonders of the ancient world listed above all use natural causes for their existence. The Hoover Dam, for instance, can be explained by its location and formation by natural forces.

Canary Islands

There are three more great wonders of the underwater world that you might also want to explore. These include the Canary Islands, Bermuda islands, and the Cayman Islands. If you don’t like the thought of visiting the Bermuda islands or the Canary Islands, you might at least visit the Cayman Islands. In the table given below, there is an image wherein you can see a video depicting all of the wonders of these Caribbean islands.
